High pressure water blasts out of the end of a small nozzle attached to the hose. The hose is placed into the drain and self-propels itself through the pipe blasting through any obstacles, such as tree roots, grease, moss, dirt that are in its path.

The high pressure jetters aren't just a blockage remover - they are a drain clearing and drain cleaning machine!

One advantage of the high pressure jetting machine is it can reach blockages that are further along the pipes than what a conventional electric eel drain machine or drain snake can reach. We also tend to use our high pressure jetting machines for kitchen sinks as they are always filled with grease. The machine easily cuts through the grease and fats to allow the pipe to flow freely again.

The high pressure jetting machine is very efficient for cleaning drains and sinks in commercial properties as well where thick build up can occur.

If you have a blocked stormwater drain we can use a high pressure water jetter. This is the best drain cleaner in this situation as it uses high pressure water and will remove any stubborn blockage along with any dirt, leaves or sludge from the stormwater pipes.

Conventional electric eel drain machines or drain snakes are older style machines and not good enough when it comes to clearing those stubborn blockages and can actually damage your pipes. All our water jetters are trailer mounted.

How do tree roots block drains? When it first starts, the root is often just big enough to block toilet paper, kitchen grease and other debris. Then as more waste builds up, it eventually clogs the whole drain.

So what if roots have damaged your pipes? There are a few potential options your plumber can talk to you about.

Your plumber can replace your clay pipes with new PVC pipes. New PVC pipes are better at stopping tree roots from penetrating them.

You may also be able to reline your existing sewer pipes in situ. This can save digging up your property and an economical alternative to replacing the pipes.
