If you have a blocked drain, overflowing sewer, slow-moving sink or recurring drainage problems, High Pressure Water Jetting is one of the fastest and most effective ways to restore full flow. Our commercial-grade equipment delivers up to 5,000 PSI, cutting through grease, sludge, tree roots, sand and built-up debris without harsh chemicals.
Jetset Plumbing provides high-pressure water jetting throughout Ipswich for residential, commercial and body corporate properties. Depending on pipe access and condition, jetting can clear kitchen wastes, bathroom drains, sewer lines, stormwater pipes and boundary traps.
Unlike traditional drain machines that simply punch a small hole through a blockage, High Pressure Water Jetting thoroughly cleans the inside walls of the pipe. This helps improve water flow and reduces the chance of future blockages.
Our High Pressure Water Jetters deliver up to 5,000 PSI of cleaning power, removing stubborn blockages and restoring the flow through your drains.
Whether you are dealing with recurring blocked drains at home or maintaining commercial drainage systems, High Pressure Water Jetting provides one of the most effective and environmentally friendly drain cleaning solutions available.
Blocked drains can develop for many different reasons. Common causes include tree root intrusion, grease build-up, food waste, wet wipes, sanitary products, soap residue, hair, leaves, mud, sand and collapsed or damaged pipes.
Many established Ipswich suburbs contain older earthenware drainage with joints that can shift or admit tree roots. Once inside, roots catch paper and waste, creating a restriction that may return unless the damaged entry point is identified and repaired.
Our plumbers use CCTV Drain Camera technology to identify the exact cause before recommending the most suitable repair.
Ipswich sewer blockages commonly involve roots, grease, food waste, wipes and sanitary products. During summer storms, leaves, soil, mulch and sediment can also wash into stormwater pits and restrict downstream pipes.
A specialised jetting hose is fed into the drain where a rotating nozzle sprays water at extremely high pressure in multiple directions. The forward jets pull the hose through the pipe while rear-facing jets scour the pipe walls, removing grease, sludge, roots and other debris.
Once the drain has been cleaned, we can carry out a CCTV Drain Camera inspection to check for cracked pipes, root intrusion or structural damage. This ensures you know exactly what condition your drains are in.
If a drain is slow, overflowing or repeatedly blocking, our Ipswich plumbers can assess the affected fixtures, choose a suitable jetting nozzle and clear the line. A camera inspection may then be recommended to check the pipe condition and underlying cause.

A specialised jetting hose is inserted into the blocked drain, sewer or stormwater line. Water is then delivered through the nozzle at pressures of up to 5,000 PSI, cutting through grease, sludge, tree roots and other obstructions while cleaning the inside of the pipe.
Unlike drain snakes that simply punch a hole through a blockage, High Pressure Water Jetting thoroughly cleans the pipe walls, helping reduce future blockages and improving drainage performance.
Combined with CCTV Drain Camera inspections, our plumbers can identify damaged pipes, root intrusion or structural problems requiring further repairs.

High-pressure water jetting is one of the most effective ways to clear blocked drains. It uses powerful streams of water to remove grease, sludge, tree roots, debris and other blockages while also cleaning the inside of the pipe, helping restore normal water flow.
A specialised high-pressure hose and jetting nozzle are inserted into the drain. Water is delivered at very high pressure to cut through blockages, flush away debris and thoroughly clean the pipe walls. Where needed, we can also inspect the drain with a CCTV camera before or after jetting.
High-pressure water jetting can remove grease, fat, soap scum, food waste, tree roots, mineral build-up, sludge and many other common drain blockages. It is suitable for both residential and commercial drainage systems.
Suitability depends on the pipe material, access and condition. A licensed plumber assesses the drainage first and selects the nozzle and operating pressure for the line. Severely damaged or collapsed pipework may need inspection and repair instead of, or before, water jetting.
Yes. Unlike some drain clearing methods that only punch a small hole through the blockage, high-pressure water jetting cleans the entire inside of the pipe. Removing built-up grease and debris helps reduce the chance of recurring blockages.
Yes. High-pressure water jetting uses water rather than harsh chemicals to clear drains, making it an environmentally friendly solution for most blocked drains while still delivering excellent cleaning results.
In many cases, yes. Because it completely cleans the pipe instead of simply breaking through the blockage, high-pressure water jetting can reduce repeat call-outs and ongoing maintenance, making it a cost-effective long-term solution.
