Blocked, Leaking, or Broken Toilet? We Fix It Fast.

A toilet fault can quickly disrupt a Brisbane home or workplace. The bowl may fill higher than normal, the cistern may keep refilling, water can leak onto the floor, or the toilet may stop flushing altogether. If several fixtures are slow or wastewater appears outside, the problem may be in the shared sewer drain rather than the toilet itself.

We understand how stressful this can be. A faulty toilet can cause mess, water damage, and inconvenience, whether it happens in a family home or a busy business. Many people worry about overflow, wasted water, the cost of repairs, or whether the problem will come back again if it is not fixed properly.

At Jetset Plumbing, we provide modern toilet plumbing solutions using the right tools and proven methods. From blocked toilets and leaking cisterns to repairs and new toilet installations, the issue is identified clearly and resolved quickly using advanced equipment where needed, with minimal disruption to your property.

We work across Brisbane houses, apartments, townhouses, body corporate properties and commercial premises. Whether the job needs a replacement inlet valve, a new pan seal, drain clearing or a complete toilet replacement, our focus is safe installation, reliable operation and a tidy work area.

Really glad that Jetset plumbing com and fixed the broken downpipe, Doug has been very professional and have fixed it perfectly, thanks so much Doug
Big thank you to Jetset plumbing for fixing the damaged drain pipe in our property. We had a broken pipe filled with tree roots under the concrete floor slab that caused blockage to our toilet downstair, laundry and kitchen sink, and the method that the Jetset plumbing used, was pipe relining, a more cost effective way of fixing broken pipe than digging and excavating to get the pipe replaced. Apparently there's hole in the pipe somewhere where the tree roots entered and have been growing inside for a while. We booked online after we did some google search and ended up with Jetset plumbing. After the booking, Zane came first the next day to inspect and organised everything and provided us with very detailed information about the cost and the product that they will use to carry out the job. The following day Steve and Nathan came and did more work, initially to carry out the pipe relining, however there's a bit of problem because they were unable to see the exact location of the cracked hole in the pipe, as it's some where along the junction which was very hard to see, but they did most of the cleaning, and removed most of the tree roots that blocks the main pipe which gave us some relief, meaning that we could use the kitchen sink and the toilet in the mean time, but not the laundry because it connects through that junction. Zane came few hours later on the same day to do more cctv drain camera using the string, so it can navigate freely through the junction, he was able to pinpoint the exact location of the cracked hole, as this will help the next team to carry out the job more precisely. Finally we were booked for another team to come and do the relining two days later in the morning by Windom and Josh, and they both did an excellent job. Windom was very polite, knowledgeable and helpful when carrying out the job , and he stayed till the job is completely finished and did a clean up as most of the works took place inside our garage, and after the job was done, Windom gave us the Reline warranty book and took the time to explain about the warranty and the free annual inspection, he even drew a very nice diagram sketch on the booklet to better explain where the reline job took place within the pipe.

Overall, we just want to send our sincere thanks and appreciation to everyone involved ( Zane, Steve, Nathan , Windom and Josh) they're all very professional, and very patient when we asked questions. Zane was super helpful throughout the process from the beginning and really kept us and the teams well informed about the job. This is our first time using Jetset plumbing and now we know which plumber to call if there's another plumbing issue in the future. Also knowing that their reline product has 25 years warranty with free annual inspection, really gives us that reassurance and peace of mind. We consider ourselves to be incredibly lucky to find Jetset plumbing. Highly recommended

Toilet Installation & Repair

Leaking Toilet

A leaking toilet may be obvious at the floor or almost silent inside the cistern. Brisbane homeowners often first notice the cistern refilling by itself, water trickling into the bowl, movement on the water meter or an unexplained increase in usage. Leaks can come from worn inlet and outlet valves, seals, flexible hoses, cistern connections or the pan seal at the base.

Using specialised tools, the source of the leak is located and repaired, whether it's a faulty valve, worn rubber seal, or internal component. Toilets can leak from a range of internal parts that wear out over time, including seals, valves, pipes, and connection points, so it's important the issue is identified correctly. We fix all types of toilet leaks, from leaking bowls and cisterns to hidden internal issues, restoring the system so it runs efficiently and no water is wasted with minimal disruption to your property.

Trying to fix a leak without the right tools or experience can lead to further damage or flooding, so it's best handled properly from the start. We recommend leading toilet brands including Caroma, Fowler, Kohler, Geberit, Villeroy & Boch, VitrA, Johnson Suisse Bathroom Solutions, Raymor, and Ideal Standard to ensure long-term reliability.

Every repair is completed using proven methods to deliver reliable, long-term results.

Blocked Toilet

A blocked toilet may drain slowly, gurgle, rise close to the rim or refuse to flush. Common causes include excess paper, wipes, sanitary products or objects lodged in the trap. Repeated blockages, several affected fixtures or an overflowing external gully can point to roots, debris or damage deeper in the property's sewer line.

With advanced equipment, the blockage is cleared safely without damaging the system, even when it is deeper in the pipe. Our plumbers arrive fully equipped to handle all types of blockages, using the right tools to locate and clear the issue properly. If the blockage has caused damage or ongoing problems with the toilet, repairs or replacement parts may also be required to restore proper function.

We recommend leading toilet brands including Caroma, Fowler, Kohler, Geberit, Villeroy & Boch, VitrA, Johnson Suisse Bathroom Solutions, Raymor, and Ideal Standard to ensure long-term reliability.

Toilet Repairs & Installation

Toilet repairs and installations range from replacing worn cistern components to fitting a complete new suite. In Brisbane properties, common reasons for replacement include cracked ceramics, obsolete parts, recurring leaks, inefficient flushing or a bathroom renovation. We check the water connection, set-out and existing waste before confirming a suitable replacement.

The system is repaired or replaced using the right parts and setup to ensure it works efficiently and reliably. This includes installing new toilets or updating internal components so everything operates as it should, with a focus on long-term performance and minimal disruption.

The work is carried out with care to ensure everything is installed correctly and built to last.

Toilet Plumbing FAQs

What should I do if my toilet is overflowing?

If your toilet is about to overflow, turn off the water tap behind the toilet immediately. Do not keep flushing, as this can make the problem worse. Stop using the toilet and call a plumber to fix the issue safely.

Do you offer emergency toilet plumbing services?

Toilet problems can happen at any time and often require urgent attention. If your toilet is blocked, leaking, or overflowing, call a plumber straight away so the issue can be checked and fixed before it causes further damage.

What are the signs of a blocked toilet?

A blocked toilet is not always obvious at first. You may notice slow draining water, the bowl filling higher than usual, or gurgling sounds. Bad smells or water backing up inside or outside your property can also indicate a blockage.

What are the signs of a leaking toilet?

A leaking toilet can be difficult to detect early. You may hear water running, see water around the base, or notice an increase in your water bill. Leaks often come from worn internal parts or damaged seals.

Does a leaking toilet waste water?

Yes, even a small leak can waste a large amount of water over time. In some cases, a running toilet can waste up to 70 kilolitres per year without being noticed. Fixing the issue early helps reduce water usage and prevent higher bills.

Why is my toilet running all the time?

A running toilet is usually caused by worn or faulty components inside the tank. This can lead to continuous water flow and wasted water. A plumber can identify the issue and repair or replace the affected parts.

Why is my toilet not flushing properly?

If your toilet is not flushing properly, there may be an issue with the tank or water flow. This can be caused by worn components, low water levels, or a blockage. A plumber can inspect the system and restore proper flushing.

Why is water or waste coming up outside my property?

If you notice water or waste outside your property, it may indicate a blockage in your sewer line. This is often caused by tree roots or deeper pipe issues. It is important to call a plumber immediately to prevent further damage.

How can I fix a running toilet?

You may be able to fix a running toilet by adjusting or replacing parts inside the tank, such as the flapper or fill valve. If you are unsure or the issue continues, it is best to have a plumber fix it properly.

Why does my toilet smell bad?

Unpleasant smells can come from issues within your plumbing system. Normally, water in the pipes acts as a seal to stop gases from entering your bathroom. If this seal is not working correctly, smells can escape and a plumber will need to fix the issue.

What causes a toilet to block?

Toilets often block when too much paper or the wrong items are flushed. Items like wipes, sanitary products, and toys can cause blockages. In some cases, tree roots or deeper pipe issues may also be the cause.

How can I check if my toilet is leaking?

A simple way to check is by using food colouring. Add a few drops into the cistern and wait 30 to 60 minutes without flushing, then check the bowl and surrounding areas. If colour appears, there is a leak that needs to be repaired.

Can I fix a blocked toilet myself?

Some minor blockages may clear using a plunger. However, if the blockage is further down the pipe, specialised equipment may be needed. Trying to force the blockage can make it worse, so it is safer to call a plumber if it does not clear easily.

When should I call a plumber for toilet issues?

You should call a plumber if your toilet is blocked, leaking, or not functioning properly. If you are unsure of the issue or your fix has not worked, a plumber can diagnose and resolve the problem correctly.

Can you repair or replace toilets?

Yes, toilets can be repaired or replaced depending on the issue. Minor problems can often be fixed with replacement parts, while older or damaged units may be better replaced with a new toilet.

Can you install a new toilet I have already bought?

Yes, a toilet you have already purchased can be installed. The system will be set up correctly to ensure it operates safely and works properly with your plumbing.

Can you help me choose a new toilet?

Yes, guidance can be provided to help you choose the right toilet for your property. Options can be recommended based on your needs, budget, and available space.

How can I prevent toilet clogs?

Only flush toilet paper and waste to reduce the risk of clogs. Avoid flushing wipes or other items, and carry out regular checks to help keep your toilet and pipes working properly.

How quickly can a toilet problem be fixed?

This depends on the issue. Many problems can be resolved quickly once the cause is identified, but more complex issues may take longer. It is always best to address the problem early before it worsens.
