Another great job thanks to Luke replacing my second toilet which had a bad leak. He rescheduled and came a day earlier which was extremely helpful! Cheers Luke and the Jetset Plumbing team!

Newmarket was once known as âThe Three Mile Scrubâ due to its long travel distance from the city. Brisbane was becoming more popular over the years, they decided to move the cattle and livestock from Normanby to an outer location, the location now bordered by Enoggera Road. This area becomes known today as the ânew marketâ given the suburb its name. Residents wanted more of the railway to transport along Enoggera Road to the Newmarket Hotel. This would ultimately bring a new bridge over Enoggera Creek. Newmarket State School opened on the 4th of July 1904 and Brickworks were constructed alongside in 1912. This suburb is growing and continuing development day in day out. As urban development continues, sale yards were moved to famous Cannon Hill in 1931. Newmarket has its own State School at 15 Banks Street. Another school is in the suburb called St Ambroseâs Primary school itâs a catholic school located on 23 Davidson Street. Also, an Environmental Education Centre can be found on 15 Banks Street.
